The rules of spider solitaire aren’t really
too difficult. All building is done on the tableau columns. The foundations
won’t really participate in the actual game play much. You may have any exposed
card, from the end of the tableau column all the way to another column, as long
as it creates a descending sequence. It’s also possible to move a packed
descending sequence of cards as a group to another tableau column. But you can
only do this if they belong to the same suit.
Therefore, you must aim to pack the cards
of the same suit as much as possible. Otherwise, the game blocks rather
quickly. It’s entirely possible to create a complete descending sequence of
cards from your free solitaire download. And once that happens, it will be
transferred to one of the foundations. It happens automatically too, so you
don’t need to move it yourself.

may be filled by any card or packed descending suit sequence of cards.
When you have no more constructive moves
